High We Exalt Thee Oh "Sierra Leone"

When I see her lovely hills
When I see her wonderful coastline
When I see her green vegetation and resources
Then I realize, that she is truly blessed
Tho she may not be so great, tho she may not be known, I love her
And I know by the grace of God someday, she will be lifted
And her sons and daughters will come from afar, to the brightness of her rising.
 Pastor Frederick B. Buckle

On the west coast of Africa, lies a stretch of land
With its hills like a crouching lion, Sierra Leone is the name
A land to the free, a land for everyone
Full of sunshine, and a pretty smile
She may not be so great, she may not be so known
But I love this home of mine, and I'll sing this song to her

High we exalt thee, realm of the free
Great is the love we have for thee
Firmly united, ever we stand
Singing thy praise, O native land

We raise up our hands, and our voices on high
The hills and the valleys, reecho our cry
Sounding to the world, that she will always be
A nation united and strong, already in God's hands
She may not be so great, she may not be so known
But I love this home of mine, and I'll sing this song to her

High we exalt thee, realm of the free
Great is the love we have for thee
Firmly united, ever we stand
Singing thy praise, O native land

She may not be so great, she may not be so known
But I love this home of mine, and I'll sing this song to her

Land of the free, our motherland
Land that we love our Sierra Leone
Land of the free, our native land
Land that we love our Sierra Leone

Land of the free, our motherland
Land that we love our Sierra Leone
Land of the free, our native land
Land that we love, our Sie Sierra Leone
Land of the free, our motherland
Land that we love, Land that we love, Land that we love, our Sierra Leone
No need to worry, God is on your side
Land that we love, our Sierra Leone

My sweet Sierra Leone, my mother land, Yeah
Ooooooooooh
My mother land, my native land yeah oooh
My sweet Sierra Leone, my motherland my native land, Yeah
We prophesy to you, that you will rise, that you will shine
And the enemies of progress, they shall, they all shall be destroyed Yeah

Land of the free, our motherland
Land that we love our Sierra Leone
Land of the free, our native land
Land that we love our Sierra Leone oooh

My sweet Sierra Leone, my motherland, ooh
My sweet my sweet my sweet my sweet, My sweet Sierra Leone, ooh
No need to worry, no need to cry, God is on your side, ooh
God will take care of you, you'll prosper again, yes my native land
My native Land

Former President Koroma states in 2010: We hold the strong belief that God wants to bless Sierra Leone.

I wrote this song in 2004. As I wrote, I saw a nation ravished by war and a people torn apart thus leaving them hopeless. But in all, there remained a speck of hope and destiny that awaits them.
This song is to remind Sierra Leonians of that destiny their forefathers saw and put in words in the National Anthem. To unite once again, destroy the barriers of ethnicity, and in one voice speak and look forward to that day.
As the dream of Martin Luther King is fulfilled and visual in America  today,so I am confident that it will be so for Sierra Leone someday.
As I was in touch with Bishop Lockhart today July 29, 2013 and read what was in:www.gsvictoryusasl.org I knew "High We Exalt Thee" is coming to pass within their three (3) 21 year MOU with the Sierra Leone Government.
